The new CO2 Footprint Report with the latest figures is available.
Our CO2 emissions from the year 2022 amount to 34,401 tons. This is 8587 tons more than in the previous year. The reasons for the increase include the rise in total laundry volume and the associated increase in the number of delivery trips. These factors increase our Scope 1 emissions value. The Scope 1 value in 2022 is 17,497 metric tons of CO2. By comparison, this was 13,157 tons in the previous year.

On the other hand, the Scope 2 value decreased significantly, which can be explained by the increased share of green electricity. The figure is currently 37 tCO2e, compared with 410 tCO2e in the previous year. This is a reduction of 91 %

For Scope 3, we recorded an increase of 4622 tCO2e, due to the higher purchasing volume, the purchase of machines, the lower proportion of home offices and the increased commuting of our employees.

Despite all these points, overall we are achieving better results than in the previous year 2021:
Per 1 million sales = 246.22 T CO2 (in 2021 this value was still 269.16 T CO2)
Per ton of laundry processed = 0.43 T CO2 (in 2021, this value was still 0.53 T CO2)
